Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance strategy for our products built on Angular and .NET Core. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites, define testing standards, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. 

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration and end-to-end automated test suites for Angular frontends and .NET Core backends 

• Build and maintain performance and load testing scripts using K6

• Develop and maintain browser automation tests using Playwright

• Define and enforce testing standards, patterns, and best practices across the team 

• Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria early in the development cycle (shift-left approach) 

• Analyze test results, triage failures, and work with developers to resolve defects 

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines 

• Conduct code reviews on test code written by other team members 

• Continuously evaluate and improve testing tooling and frameworks 

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation 

• Solid experience writing integration tests for .NET Core applications (e.g. using xUnit, NUnit, or WebApplicationFactory)

• Solid experience writing end-to-end and component tests for Angular applications

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation

• Hands-on experience with K6 for performance and load testing

• Strong understanding of test architecture: test isolation, fixtures, data seeding, mocking strategies 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) 

• Ability to read and understand both C# and TypeScript/JavaScript codebases 

Nice to Have

• Experience with other JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Vitest, Testing Library) 

• Experience testing REST APIs (contract testing, schema validation) 

• Experience with Docker for test environment setup 

• Exposure to accessibility or security testing
