Job Overview:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing. You will play a key role in generating new revenue by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospects, and turning them into customers. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to convert qualified leads into paying clients. Your ability to understand customer needs, build relationships, and present solutions that address pain points will be critical to your success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals. Own the sales pipeline and consistently work towards hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across organizations. Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and meetings to understand their business challenges and position your company’s solutions as the ideal fit.

  • Solution Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the prospect’s business needs, highlighting how our solutions will address their specific challenges.

  • Needs Analysis: Work with prospects to understand their pain points, goals, and objectives. Use this information to provide tailored solutions and guide prospects toward making a purchasing decision.

  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Create and deliver sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and work with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts. Ensure smooth transitions to the implementation team.

  • Collaboration with SDRs: Work closely with SDRs to review and qualify leads, ensuring that only the most promising opportunities are passed along to you.

  • Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot) to manage the sales pipeline, track interactions, update opportunities, and maintain accurate records of all client communications and progress.

  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and activity reports to management. Report on sales progress, key wins, and obstacles in a transparent and proactive manner.

  • Market Research & Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor offerings. Use this knowledge to adjust sales strategies and stay competitive in the market.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a software/SaaS environment. Proven track record of success in closing deals and hitting sales targets.

  • Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales skills with experience in managing the full sales cycle. Ability to handle objections, negotiate deals, and close business.

  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly understand the features and benefits of the company’s products and communicate their value to customers. Familiarity with SaaS solutions is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex solutions and tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, or similar) to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.

  • Self-Motivated & Target-Driven: Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including SDRs, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and smooth handoff during the sales process.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
